A glorious, glorious goal. Spectacular strike, immaculate technique. Thank you Wayne for giving us moments in football we will never forget. Posted by Hello
what's this new business about liverpool not being granted an automatic place in next years champions league should they win it?

i am not happy at all.

boo to uefa.

the fa has to choose between the merseyside teams and it's not a really difficult choice if you ask me. champions of europe or a team that harbours a fucking ex-con like duncan ferguson and brought up a punk like rooney? it's like making a choice between scoring a halfway line lob against circus tay or having to partner eric (the king) in w11? no brainer.

of course this whole blogpost is redundant once tomorrow night's result don't go my way.

you'll never walk alone.

Real Madrid - Reap What you Sow..

First of all, Congratulations to Real #$%@^ Madrid on a wonderful performance against the mighty Catalans - Barcelona just over a week ago.

Please don't be fooled with the result tho', Real Madrid don't deserve to win the Primera Liga this year. Not by a long way - the way they have been playin and more importantly the lack of morality and lack of football sense they have been displaying the past year(s). The past couple of days have seen Real Madrid going at the papers about their renewed enthusiasm for the League title and how the gap between them and Barca are only 6.
I sincerely hope Real don't win the league, their football has been mediocre (Stevie Gerrard in a Liverpool shirt) at best and their lack of respect (from the same school of modesty and morality as Jose 'Special One' Mourinho' ) is absolutely disgusting, foul and distasteful.
* Why are Real Madrid like lawyers ? They are heartless, spineless, gutless and their head and asses are interchangeble. *

The loss to Getafe (1month ago) seemed a long time ago in football for Real Madrid, especially after beating Barca but analysing that game would show the principles on which Real Madrid (Florentino Pérez ) stand on.
Getafe- first time playing in the 1st division - their budget for the whole of the season = 1.3M Euro. Real's budget -60M Euro.
Firstly football is unpredictable and we have all seen big teams beaten or raped by smaller teams but Real's loss is a long time coming and thoroughly deserved.

Getafe's president (Ángel Torres) a huge Real Madrid fan with a fan club number asked for some help in the coming season with a couple of B-Team-ers loans, but was denied by the 'great' Pérez . 'These players would rather sit on the Real Madrid bench than to play for Getafe'.

Anyone (a blind, deaf and dumb Aussie Rules fan with so much VB in him that gynaecomastia and a Wonderbra is needed included) would have realized during the match that Madrid were not only beaten, dominated, humiliated, trashed but also haemorrhagically anally penetrated with a durian on the end of Siah 'beast'. (I would like to say that their anal virginity was taken away but we all know that slutty nature of Real and their anal virginity was lost a long time ago)
Rikki, another of their former players scored the winning goal (surprise, surprise) and Getafe could have scored more but felt sorry for Real - ran one match report.

Not having a definitive head (coach/ manager) of the team and with Pérez running the show, managers are fired and hired more often than Joanne Y with men, there will never be any team stability.
Why is Real Madrid like the Eurovision song contest? *Because Luxemberg always loses*

Ronaldo seems more concerned about getting his divorce sorted out and getting married than the weekly matches. Luxemburgo has made changes in the past 7 matches in their midfield and yet the same players are picked. Which thorougly baffles the mind. Just like Eric 'The King' s WE8 formation magic, the team is being punished.
Mariano García Rémon left Ronaldo (fake) out of a match and when Pérez asked "Who do you think you are to leave Ronaldo out?" to which Rémon replied "The coach". 3 days later Rémon was fired.

Real Madrid let 11 players leave to buy David Beckham (who clearly is a midfield dynamo in the shape of a Gatusso/ Makelele/ Keane/ Vieira/ Emerson/ Biscan?) Pérez was closing in on the perfect expression of the galáctico policy, his dream of a first team made up of "Zidanes and Pavones", superstars and home-grown players. But the youth team at Madrid isn't good enough and the policy has served to create divisions, sink the morale of those vital "middle class" players who do not fit the model, and form a leaderless, thin, aging squad, strolling through life having already won it all.

You'd think not but so much needs to change. Raúl, utterly isolated since the departures of the Three Fernandos - Redondo, Hierro and Morientes; all shipped out because of the challenge they represented to Pérez - has not had three decent games in a row for over two years. And yet still he plays every game, illustrating the extent to which meritocracy went out the window years ago: those who play know they'll play whatever they do; those who do not, know they will not, whatever they do. Any pretence of Real Madrid being a football club has gone, still less the greatest club in the world, despite the loud self-importance bellowing from the roof tops.

Fair enough, Madrid's budget has risen from 103m euros in 2000-01 to 300m euros now, but it is no coincidence that Madrid will now almost certainly finish their second successive season empty-handed, something that hadn't happened since 1992, after two seasons of pure galacticism. Nor that in the last four years under Pérez, they have steadily slipped back in the Champions League: winners in 2001-02, semi-finalists the year after, then quarters, now last sixteen, Madrid's worst performance since the competition was re-formed in 1995.

Sigh.. I honestly feel it truly is a shame that a club that is suppose to represent the epitomy of the beautiful game with 'great' players has slipped down so low the moral route that it is now in the faecal sewers.
Maybe they'll (Pérez ) learn how to run a proper football club, not one that has declining principles and morality (think Pérez's never, never, never sign player X policy). But then again maybe not, after all, it is just seven weeks since Madrid's sporting director and vice-president Emilio Butragueño described Florentino Pérez as "a superior being".
