Tottenham refused to put the ball out of play so that the injured Arsenal players can receive treatment. Eboueu (right back) was lying down injured at the centre of the field...Carrick then played the ball to Davids on the right where it was vacant before squaring it up to Robbie Keane to score.

Just few days ago when Villareal players were diving and pretending to be injured, Arsenal players kicked the ball out of play when they were in a good attacking position.

Back in 1999, Arsenal vs Sheffield Utd in a FA Cup tie...Ray Parlour (another Arsenal unsung hero alongside Gilles Grimandi) threw the ball back in to the opposition as a gesture of sportsmanship but Kanu didn't know what happened so he took the ball off the opposition and square the ball to Overmars to score.

"Kanu is feeling very down. He's very sad. And we all have the feeling we didn't win the game like we wanted to. It was an accident," Wenger added.

"Ray Parlour wanted to throw the ball back to Sheffield United but Kanu didn't know why. He didn't know that the goalkeeper had deliberately kicked the ball out of play so that a teammate could have an injury treated."

Therefore, Wenger offered a replay. Bruce (Sheffield Utd's manager) said of Wenger, "That's very, very good of him."

But that was back then before Tottenham killed fair play in English football

FREDDIE is right.

Head-butting another manager at your home stadium will win you the Fair Play Trophy 2005/2006.

Well done Wenger, thank you for teaching young players everywhere the fastest way to receive a red card.
